FMN Excerpt: “Rock a Bye Baby”
My name is Jessie. I am eight years old. I am never, ever touched. No pats on the head. No bedtime hug. No hand to hold when I cross the street. One day, I broke a boy’s nose when he tried to hug me. “Forget Me Not” is a story about the effects of severe touch deprivation on one eight year old little girl named Jessie. It is available at bookstores and Amazon.
