Haven is a very special book. It’s a book many, many years in the making. It’s a book I didn’t think I could do, or finish once I stared. It’s a book about two sisters, Poppy & Haven. One is being abused, the other is not. When Haven believes Poppy is no longer safe from becoming “Daddy’s girl,” the two sisters work together to hatch a daring escape plan. Only – it is flawed. Only one will escape.

There’s a little girl who sits in a dark corner of my mind. I’ve promised her that I won’t let anyone hurt her ever again. This little girl is very, very important. And, once, she was scared of a lot of things. The video is from Chapter 8 in Haven.
