The BE THE HOPE workshop is just days away. I thought I’d share a sneak peek into some of the content. It is astonishing, and beautiful, to me to think that we are all made up of the stardust. How many times have I stepped outside to stare at the heavens and get lost, making wishes, finding planets and making up “star pictures?” How many times have I contemplated how big the universe is, how small I am? How often have I marveled at how beautiful the handiwork of the Creator?

Stars, as they are dying, will go through a phase where they are furiously expending the last of their energy–then, when they tire, they’ll cool down. The pulsating phase makes them hotter and hotter… until they ultimately explode. Isn’t that kind of like us? When we are hurting, when we are being beaten down, we work so hard to be okay, to be strong, to survive. We use every coping mechanism we can think of…. and we are vulnerable and desperate for compassion.

But there’s good news. The universe is brightened because there are billions, trillions, of stars working together to illuminate a world that would otherwise be very dark. It’s teamwork at its finest. And we–humans–are literally composed of stardust. We’re meant to work together… and we are meant to shine. See, eventually, when the star explodes, some of them, the novae and supernovae blend with other elements and ultimately the exploded stardust gives birth to an entire new world of stars and galaxies. So, our tragedies, our heartbreaks, our shame–our story doesn’t have to end there. When we join hands, we can help each other rise up and brighten the star within.

I would love to have you join on either July 31 or August 4 to talk more, find the answer to the question in the video and discover how we can each BE THE HOPE. To sign up, simply message me and let me know which date you can join. It’ll be at 6:30pm EST and each participant will receive a choice of any one of my books for free.
